Dog Adoption

I was never a pet owner. I can say that the decision to adopt my dogs was the best decision ever of my life. Having adopted one male and one female dog, they just make the perfect pair! Having adopted them since 2009, my life with them and my husband has dramatically changed. They have brought so much happiness, contentment and fulfillment to our lives that now living without them would be torture. The whole adoption process was as easy as eating pie. I went to Fresno Valley Animal Center in the morning, felt a connection to my dog, filled out paper work, paid the $75 fee and was out of the center in less than an hour! The same effort went in with our other adoption, but this time it was a different place so they charged us $150 and again we were out of there in less than an hour. I would encourage everyone out there to adopt pets, as you are not only saving lives but also enhancing your life. If anyone has any questions about adopting dogs, please do let me know, I would be more than happy to assist anyone in the process. Happy puppy shopping.

What's the difference between a sacrifice and a compromise?

there have been so many instances in my life and with my friends, where we get confused between a sacrifice and a compromise. There's such a fine line between the two, that even though you think you are not the sacrificing kind, be careful cause the minute you decide to compromise you wont even know how fast it became a sacrifice. I think when we you bend your rules to fit the situation and your significant other bends his rules to meet you in the middle, it's definitely a compromise on your part and his. However, as soon as the words "can you," "will you," "you should," start entering the picture, let your alarm bell go off as no one should be asking favors from you if it means you having to give up what's important to you. Seeing the various situations in which I have personally done both, you only know the real difference between the two by the way you feel afterward. If you feel sad and happy, love and hate, smart and foolish, you know you've crossed that line into making  a sacrifice. A compromise should leave you feeling rejuvenated like you've been given the opportunity to make a fresh start with new tools and you cant wait to get things going.

Hello Bloggers! This is my first blog for my online communication class, starting March 2nd. I was thinking of first introducing myself, but instead of doing that I am going to let you all want to get to know me by the content I post. As of now I am enrolled in this class and have three more starting the week of March 12th. I am almost done with my pre-requisites for Physical Therapy and am waiting on colleges to get back to me with regards to their decision. The last time I was this nervous waiting on something significant to happen was waiting on my graduation results, 10 years back! Anyways I shall keep you'll updated on what happens and hopefully it will be good. For now everyone needs a plan B and even though I hope and pray to God I never need to use it, I prefer to be safe than sorry. Cheers and catch up with you guys soon.
